South Australian sheet metal manufacturing company, Rowlands Metalworks, unveiled a brand-new 3D welding robot capability, Arcemy, at an event for the state’s business and defence communities. The world-leading technology, supplied by South Australian peer AML3D, was a first for the state and enabled significant expansion in defence manufacturing capabilities for the organisation.
CALLIE developed and implemented a targeted media and PR strategy in the lead-up to the opening event held at Rowlands Lonsdale factory. This included dignitary invitations, communications and media management.
- The campaign achieved 28 media placements across a range of print, digital, social and trade media to profile Rowlands’ expanded capabilities to key business markets, with two feature stories across InDaily and The Lead also achieved.
- An exclusive pitch to Newscorp resulted in print and online coverage in The Advertiser Business Journal, which was syndicated to The Australian and other state mastheads nationally on launch day.
