Overview

Rotary Adelaide’s centenary in 2023 was a once in a lifetime opportunity to shine a light on the important work the community driven organisation has achieved and the impact it has delivered for the last 100 years.

Approach

CALLIE developed a strategic PR plan which aimed to increase the profile of Rotary Adelaide and celebrate the community impact of the organisation as part of its centenary year. A key part of the strategy was identifying and utilising strong case studies to celebrate and profile the people that make Rotary what it is in South Australia today.

A targeted approach to media outreach was adopted, utilising strategic and unique story angles across digital, print, broadcast, and radio. 

Outcomes

  • Feature, and lead stories profiling key Rotary SA figures achieved in The Advertiser SA Weekend lift out, The Advertiser Boomer lift out, ABC Radio Adelaide, and SA Life.
  • 14 content pieces achieved across broadcast, online, radio and print in key targeted publications including 7 News Adelaide, ABC Radio Adelaide, The Sunday Mail, The Advertiser, InDaily, Fifty+ (online and print), and The Senior Newspaper (online and print).
  • Media and social media reach of over 3.2 million.
