Carbon Neutral Project

McLaren Vale wine brand, Hither & Yon, were officially granted Carbon Neutral Certification by Climate Active, making them the first South Australian wine brand to reach the achievement. CALLIE was engaged to develop and undertake public relations activity with the objective of sharing the exciting news locally and nationally.

Working closely with the Hither & Yon team and Climate Active, communications were developed and distributed to media including local news, wine trade media, and environmental publications. The news was very well-received across the state and nationally, as well as by many partners and stakeholders within Hither & Yon’s community.

Outcomes

• 24 pieces of coverage were achieved across print, online and social media.
• 88 percent of coverage included a video or image.
• Reached almost 2 million people.
